Today you arrive at the breathtaking Honor Mansion! Enjoy a welcome thumbprint and cheese reception and spend the evening casually dining with Scott, Erica and the staff of thumbprint. You'll have time to settle in, relax and be pampered - a perfect way to start off your Wine Country Vacation Experience!

Thursday, June 21st, 2012

Start your first full day with a gourmet breakfast while drinking mimosas. The morning is yours: sleep in or head out early to explore Healdsburg; then arrive at thumbprint's tasting room to savor an epicurean delight as Scott takes you through a wonderful wine & food pairing experience for lunch. Spend some time in the Healdsburg square or do some more exploring downtown. Then head back to the Honor Mansion to get ready to dine out with Scott and Erica for a special winemaker dinner at a local restaurant. 

Friday, June 22nd, 2012

Start your second day with another gourmet breakfast. Then, be chauffeured to Lisa's Vineyard in beautiful Knight's Valley. Lisa's vineyard is a breathtaking property with just a small portion planted to cabernet grapes. The remainder is rolling hills, towering old trees and views that you'll never forget. We'll spend the afternoon picknicing, petting llamas, and relaxing with cabernet growers Harvey and Lisa as they share about biodynamic farming and how they work with Scott to create outstanding cabernet sauvignon. After this fun-filled adventure, we'll head back to Healdsburg to prepare for another evening out to dinner with Scott and Erica.

Ah, the delicious breakfast! What's next? Spend the afternoon at one of our wildy fun "three some" blending workshops! Have you ever wanted to learn how to blend wine? Let Scott teach you how during this hands on experience. Join us at the winery (where all the magic happens!) and you will get to taste, blend and bottle your very own "three some" while noshing on "three some" inspired tapas! Once you're done being a winemaker for the afternoon, relax and enjoy a gourmet dinner under the stars on the Honor Mansion grounds. Well, perhaps a nap between these two activities might be in order - it is Saturday night - we plan to enjoy this summer wine country evening with you!

This will be your day to fully enjoy the Honor Mansion grounds. First, there's that yummy breakfast! Perhaps then you'll challenge Scott or Erica to a tennis match (hmmm, how late were we up last night?...), or maybe just start perfecting your bocce strategy? Today is our 'field games day'! There'll be bocce, wine, food, croquet, wine, food - did we mention wine? Win prizes, and see if you can beat the winemaker! The main rule for thumbprint's field games day?... you can't put your wine glass down! Enjoy the frivolity while noshing throughout the day and finishing our evening with a wine country bar-b-que on the grounds. What's your favorite thumbprint varietal with bar-b-que?

Unless you decide you want to relocate to Sonoma County and stay with us, this will be your morning to check out. Just haven't had enough fun with thumbprint yet?We will have additional options you can add on such as zip lining, segwey tours and more. Or you might just want to drive to the coast and relax! Whatever you choose from here, we know you'll have had a Wine Country Vacation Experience you'll never forget!
